Answering Edward
1. Turquoise. That's my favorite color every day and I do wear it a lot.

2. Muse - Black Holes and Revelations. I have a fantasy of being able to play "Knights of Cydonia" at the Expert level of Guitar Hero. But we all know that's probably not ever going to happen.

3. The Phantom of the Opera. I'm dying to see the stage production again. Alas, it's not touring anywhere near me right now, but I'm happy to have the DVD!

4. Tourmaline. Because it comes in so many different, sparkly, beautiful colors!

5. Roses. Boring, I know. But I only like the really interesting, funky variegated ones like these:

Now, who gets the title of my post? ;D

You don't know how long I have waited for you...
It seems like forever since it was announced that Twilight would be made into a movie. After counting down the days in heart-pounding anticipation of seeing one of my favorite books brought to life on the big screen, the night finally came! This momentous occasion definitely called for a party. I invited my fellow Twilight-loving girlfriends and we celebrated before (some of us) headed off to the theater for the opening-night midnight showing!
Freesia-scented hand soap (to smell like Bella)
Irritated Grizzly Bear Cookies (so you can go hunting with Emmett and Edward)
An Umbrella (you'll need it in Forks)
Vintage Vamp Nail Polish (bring out your vamp side)
A Romantic Piano Music CD (pretend Edward is playing for you)
Freesia Body Butter (so Edward will want to bite you)
A Sparkly Nightlight (comes in handy at twilight)
Icy Fresh Breath Spray (to give to your guy....XOXO!)
Vampire Fangs (haha - just kidding!)
So what did I think of the movie? I totally loved it. No movie that is made from a book, especially a favorite one, will be as good as the book. Ever. That being said, I was really impressed. I thought the acting was great (even better than I expected), the script choices were (for the most part) good, and it kept the spirit and overall feeling of the books. I walked out of the theater completely excited and entertained and didn't feel let down at all (which happens sometimes after you've waited so long for something!) I'm sure I'll even enjoy it more the second (and third and fourth and fifth and sixth...) time.
And I can't wait for New Moon!

Twilight vs. Harry Potter
TWILIGHT!
I was SO UPSET when I heard that the next Harry Potter film, which had been scheduled to release on November 21st, had been pushed back to next summer. Especially since the only reason the studio could seem to give is that they think they will make more money that way. Never mind letting all the fans down who have been anxiously waiting, and especially after the last H.P. movie was such a disappointment, both in length and content (or lack thereof.) You'd think they could try to make that up to us.
But I'm not upset anymore.
Read this, posted on Stephenie Meyer's website this morning:
Movie News Flash!
So, many of you have heard that the release of the sixth Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, has been moved from this Thanksgiving to next summer. First and foremost, please know that this schedule change has absolutely nothing to do with Twilight, me, or Summit Films (so enough with the imdb death wishes, okay?). This is Warner Bros. decision, and it was not motivated by anything Twilight-related.
Now for the good news! Though we're all sad to have to wait for Harry Potter, this open spot at the theater creates a cool opportunity. The good people at Summit were thrilled to let me know that now Twilight fans are going to get their movie three weeks earlier than scheduled. That's right—Twilight will be released in theaters November 21st! Let the merry-making commence!

Ahhhh, Edward!
Aside from currently reading Breaking Dawn for the second time (slowly this time, savoring every word!) I obsessively check Stephenie Meyer's website and a couple of other fan sites every day to see if there is anything new. I found this spoof of the Twilight trailer and I thought it was hilarious!
I also found this spoof of Breaking Dawn that had me chuckling...
Enjoy!
