The green orb you posted and asked what it is - it is an osage orange, also called a hedge apple. They really are supposed ot keep spiders and insects out of your house, and they last for two or three months. You're supposed to discard them after the green is all gone (or whenever you want to!).
Osage orange trees have big thorns all over them, and the wood will burn when it is green. When it is dried it gives off more heat than any other kind of wood.
I am Mom to Teddy and Wife to Scott. Scott and I have known each other since fourth grade and have been married since March of 2006. We have a pretty cool love story! I grew up in Maryland, the most beautiful state in the USA! I spent 4 years studying and playing (mostly playing) at BYU and then got a degree in Cosmetology at Von Curtis Academy. I served a mission in Chicago speaking Spanish. I am a hairstylist and I enjoy the time I get to spend with people helping them feel beautiful. I also work for a health promotion company doing health screenings. We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It's a pretty awesome life!
About Scott
Scott is the greatest man in the world. OK, can you tell Jennifer is writing this? Really, though, he is. He grew up in Maryland and is a HUGE Maryland Basketball fan. Fear the turtle! He attended Ricks College and Utah State and graduated with a degree in Political Science. He served a mission in Florida speaking Spanish. He co-owns Midwestern Property Services and also works as a heath screener for a health promotion company. He loves to study the gospel and always has his nose in a Hugh Nibley book. He does NOT like to have his picture taken. He is an AMAZING cook. And he's the best husband a girl could ask for!
About Teddy
Teddy is our baby - he's a little pomeranian with LOTS of personality! He loves meeting new people. He barks his head off at them as he watches them out the window, but as soon as they enter the door they are his best friends. He loves to snuggle and pretty much has to always be on someone's lap, especially when they are getting their hair done. He can sit, lay down or speak on command, but only if he can see that you are holding a treat for him. He's the cutest doggie in the whole wide world!

I really need to read these books! This trailer is a lot better than the first for someone who doesn't know the story line. I wanna see it, now.
Ok Jen. You convinced me! I'm finally going to read the books too. It looks like too much fun to miss!
Man, I hope I'm back from Europe in time to see the preview! Oh, wait - maybe it will be out in Europe first?? Either way - I can't WAIT!
Tsk, tsk, tsk.... you sisters have really been "sucked" in. LOL
